Out of the beaten path: wild Val Algone.

Imagine wild forests. Listen to the birds singing and the wind in the trees. All around you, just nature and a breathtaking view of valleys and mountains. Few people come here, a sort of paradise for those who love the less beaten paths and the Brenta Dolomites.

Val Algone is located in the Adamello Brenta Natural Park, the largest nature reserve in Trentino. It starts from Stenico, where after a few minutes of road you can already find hiking trails and some wonderful spots where you can dive into the clear rushing waters of the river. The small Malga Nambi, where cheese and yogurt are made, is a nice place to stop before climbing to the top of the mountain, our favorite spot, where the view is truly special. Movlina is the name of the clearing where you can park (only a limited number of cars). From here you are spoiled for choice: which trail and what to see?

"Should I go to the hidden and magical alpine lake? Or maybe I should go to Rifugio 12 Apostoli, hike to the top and enjoy a lunch overlooking the Dolomites? Or maybe it's better to go up to Pinzolo through a breathtaking panorama and reach the new luxurious Rifugio Doss? Oh... but I could also go see the fossil stones..." It's up to you, this place offers so many possibilities that it's honestly difficult to give you a recommendation. The only thing is: if you love nature and hiking, you can't miss this place that - we are sure - will remain in your heart.

*It takes about 30/40 minutes by car to get to Movlina from Stenico, a small fee is required for the entrance by car

*Bring water with you and, if you have, also a pair of binoculars

*You can enjoy this place not only in one day, to discover the top but also the beautiful area at the foot of the mountain

*From Stenico take the first road after the waterfall, where you will find a sign for Val Algone
